Sunday 4 Sep 2011 Wat Mongkhol Bopit houses the largest bronze Buddha image in Thailand. The image was partially destroyed during the sacking of Ayuthaya, and was recently restored and venerated as the symbol of the unconquerable fighting spirit of the Thai.
