Topic: Multiplication of 6, 7, 8 and 9

Question L:

Billy wrote this in his book.

5 x 6 = 30
So, 7 x 6 = 30 + 6
= 36

Explain the mistake in Billy’s solution and obtain the correct answer.

Billy wrote this in his book.

10 x 6 = 60
So, 9 x 6 = 60 + 6
= 66

Explain the mistake in Billy’s solution and obtain the correct answer.

Without using vertical multiplication,
how would you solve 22 x 6 if you are given 10 x 6 =60?

    10 is more than 9

    1 x 6 = 6, 2 x 6 =12, 3 x 6= 18, 4 x 6 = 24,
    5 x 6= 30, 6 x 6 = 36, 7 x 6 = 42, 8 x 6 =48, 9 x 6 = 54, 10 x 6 =60.He is not surpose to + but to - then he will get the answer!!!! So the answer was 54. So that was he's mistake!!!
